Menu Rahmah was intended to help our community. This shop took it one step further when they offered to play their part in helping our cat-mmunity as well.

According to a Facebook post by Pets Mart Sinaria, the shop is now offering Menu Rahmah to our furry friends. Pet owners can pick between a choice of kibble as well as a choice of wet food.

Deeming it their 'lowest prices ever', each combination will be sold for only RM5.

The menu offers a variety of brands including Wiraku, Oh My Cat, Dzahara, Misha, and Snappy Tom.

The idea was praised by the minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Datuk Seri Salahuddin Bin Ayub

"Now, Oyen (cats) can enjoy the advantages of Menu Rahmah," wrote the minister in his tweet.

The tweet has since garnered over 150,000 views and has received mixed reactions from locals all around

Many appreciated the efforts of the shop with one user commenting, "Grace to not only humans, but also towards animals. This is truly civilised. Congratulations prime minister Anwar, minister Salahuddin and the others."

Meanwhile, some felt that the focus should be redirected to humans instead of animals, as they can't vote.

"This is going too far. Please focus on humans because cats cannot vote," commented a user.

Users were also hoping that the initiative would go on to influence other businesses as well.

"The upcoming school term begins in March. Maybe this time (the government) can initiate a Rahmah school supplies and uniforms deal. The prices of these necessities have increased," suggested a user.
