A pet goat has gone viral on TikTok after netizens discovered that not only can the goat understand Bahasa Melayu, but she can also assist her owner with certain tasks

In a TikTok video posted yesterday, 6 June, the goat named Mila is seen hopping back and forth along a short stretch of a road in front of her home in Selayang, Selangor.

Speaking to SAYS, Mila's owner, Sarah, said she tasked the goat with getting her pet cat, named Putih, to return home.

The video shows the goat putting her head into a bush, but Sarah calls for her to return to her side.

"Nak pergi cari kawan? Nah... pergi... (You want to look for your friend? Okay... go...)," says Sarah, as Mila complies and heads to the bush again to look for Putih.

"Panggil kawan balik... Mana kawan? Pergi Panggil kawan (Call your friend to return. Where is your friend? Go get your friend back)," Sarah orders Mila again.

Mila appears puzzled as to why Putih does not emerge from hiding after she returns to Sarah's side. However, determined to complete the task, she hurries back to the bush. This time, Putih leaps out, surprising her.

After some back and forth, Sarah says in jest that Mila has failed to convince Putih to return home.

Sarah told SAYS that she purchased Mila when the goat was only one month old from a barn in Kuala Kubu Baru, Kuala Selangor

"I bought Mila because she is pretty and cute," Sarah said.

When asked about the amount of milk Mila consumes monthly, and considering Sarah's jests on TikTok about the high cost of raising Mila, she revealed that she spends RM1,300 on milk each month.

"She drinks six boxes of Dutch Lady a day. Multiply the cost of six boxes by 30 days and you get about RM1,300 a month," revealed the 32-year-old.

Sarah mentioned that Mila enjoys playing, running around, and going for walks. She added that Mila has five cat friends at home named Lisa, Kiki, Dekmok, Putih, and Biru. Before Mila, Sarah used to own a pet monkey.

Sarah, who runs an online business, said Mila does not always follow her orders

"[If you ask her to complete some tasks], she can't do it well. She doesn't always follow my orders.

"Sometimes, she does it; sometimes, she doesn't. It all depends on her mood," said Sarah who lives with her husband and younger brother.
