Pupper Affectionately Cuddles With Owner's Boyfriend After Not Seeing Him For 3 Days
It's the tippy-toes for me :')
The saying goes that dogs are man's best friend — but has anyone ever considered the fact that maybe the inverse of that statement may be true for dogs, too?
A recent TikTok has been making waves on the Internet for a particularly heartwarming interaction between a man and his girlfriend's dog.
Kobi, a Shih Tzu and proclaimed 'smol boi' from the Philippines, has built quite a following on TikTok with almost 300,000 followers on the platform. In a clip posted to Kobi's page, the Shih Tzu was recently reunited with his owner's boyfriend after not seeing him for three days.
Snuggled in his arms right at the foot of the door to their house, Kobi stands on his tippy-toes and gets all the cuddles he deserves. As the boyfriend moves his head with just a tilt, Kobi inches a little closer towards him, somewhat seeking out more hugs from the boyfriend.
Kobi's cuteness has touched the hearts of people all around the world, with the clip garnering almost two million views and more than 300,000 likes since the TikTok was posted
Many people gushed over Kobi's affection, saying that his tippy-toe stand was the icing on the cake.
"Kobi taking it harder than you," joked one user, while another stated that Kobi was probably thinking, "I'm still mad at you but I will allow this for now".
One user even said that Kobi is like the boyfriend's child.
Others couldn't help leaving humorous remarks in the comments section.
"Be careful, girl," joked one user, hinting to Kobi's owner about her dog's closeness with her boyfriend. Another commenter also stated, "Imagine if he was gone for three weeks, Kobi will howl!"
Nevertheless, one comment truly encapsulated what most pet owners would relate to, that dogs can become attached to the people in their owners' lives as well.
After receiving a traditional Hindu blessing, Roger the Golden Retriever went viral for his adorableness on TikTok, too:
