Sabah Boat Tour Guide Goes Viral For Speaking In Fluent Korean So Tourists Can Understand

A tour guide working in Sabah has gone above and beyond his duties by learning a new language to ensure his clients understand him

Sabah tour company, @pakej_bajet_kundasang, went viral after showing off one of their guides' unexpected skills in a recent TikTok video.

Garnering over four million views at the time of writing, the video shows the guide relaying instructions in Bahasa Melayu to a group of tourists on a boat headed for Manukan Island.

Unexpectedly, he then turns to some of the passengers on the boat and starts repeating the same instructions for them in Korean.  

As he speaks to them, the video pans to the Korean tourists smiling and nodding in response

The guide's initiative to translate the instructions for his clients has received plenty of praise online

One person jokingly commented that this guy doesn't need subtitle translations for Crash Landing on You, a popular South Korean television series from 2019.
