AirAsia is set to resume its flight services from Kuala Lumpur to Pattaya, Thailand, offering thrice-weekly flights from 17 June onwards

In a statement by AirAsia, the reinstatement of the route to Pattaya marks the airline's ninth direct route to Thailand.

From the bustling Pattaya Floating Market to the pristine shores of Koh Larn beach, the coastal city has been a highly sought-after tourism destination. According to AirAsia, the budget airline flew over 60,000 travellers between Kuala Lumpur and Pattaya in 2019.

On top of that, Malaysians made up the highest number of visitors to Thailand in 2023, totalling 4.56 million visits.
