A media preview on 12 November showed just what the Kita Bagi Jadi Concert is all about
Attended by artistes like Azlan Typewriter, Jaclyn Victor, and Datuk Zainal Abidin, the event offered a behind-the-scenes look at their journeys and their excitement for this milestone celebration. They shared how meaningful it is to be part of an event that celebrates resilience and unity.
The young musicians from the Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (MPYO) were equally thrilled, as it will be a rare opportunity for them to share the stage with Malaysia's biggest stars.
Toni Darusman, CIMB Group Chief Brand and Marketing Officer expressed how this concert represents the bank's spirit of nurturing young talents, giving the 54 talented young musicians a chance to pursue their dreams and inspire others through music.
The concert promises breathtaking orchestral visual storytelling, featuring an incredible lineup of Malaysia's finest artistes
Audiences can look forward to performances by the MPYO, led by conductor Ahmad Muriz Che Rose, alongside icons like Datuk Zainal Abidin, Aina Abdul, Azlan Typewriter, Dayang Nurfaizah, Hael Husaini, Jaclyn Victor, and Nuril, the winner of CIMB's ASEAN Rising Start competition.

Kita Bagi Jadi will also be part of a larger social movement launched by CIMB to uplift communities and celebrate resilience
For CIMB, this milestone honours a century of empowering people and building financial inclusion across Malaysia.
Over the past five years, CIMB has given over RM27 billion in loans to the B40 community and RM23 billion to small and micro businesses. And beyond banking, the bank has invested RM150 million in sports, education, arts, and the environment. CIMB's commitment extends to nature too, with RM7 million contributed toward conservation efforts for forests, rivers, and wetlands.
