According to the notice, the outlet has been ordered to close for two weeks from 9 July until 23 July.

The Bukit Jalil outlet remains listed among Murni Discovery's operating branches, though customers may have to visit another nearby outlet while it remains closed.

Murni Discovery is the latest eatery to be temporarily shut in recent weeks

The temporary closure follows a series of enforcement actions by health authorities against food premises around the Klang Valley.

Last month, two eateries at a shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur were ordered to close for 14 days after inspections by the Kuala Lumpur Health Department found hygiene violations.

Following that, six restaurants along Jalan Alor were also temporarily shut following a joint inspection by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) and the Health Ministry. Authorities cited various cleanliness issues, including cockroach and rat infestations, dirty food preparation areas, and poor waste management.

IKEA Cheras' Swedish Restaurant also announced its temporary closure in June after being instructed by health authorities to temporarily cease operations, with the retailer saying the move was to allow for a thorough cleaning and sanitisation of the premises. It has since reopened.

Earlier this month, Sushiro in KLCC was also ordered to close and has since reopened.
