The awards celebrate restaurants and food businesses that Malaysians consistently trust and choose.
Unlike conventional awards, the winners are determined entirely by millions of authentic ratings and reviews from Grab users, making each recognition a true reflection of what people actually enjoy.
And this year, Grab is also collaborating with Visit Malaysia 2026, shining a spotlight on deserving local businesses while encouraging more people to explore Malaysia's diverse food scene.

"Helping our merchant-partners grow is at the heart of what we do. Grab aims to be the primary platform for food businesses nationwide, offering holistic, tech-driven growth across delivery, dine-in, and digital discoverability," said Tan Jiong Jian, Director of Commercial and Deliveries at Grab Malaysia.
"By providing data-driven insights and digital tools, we enable local favourites to build customer trust and reach new audiences. The Grab 5-Star Eats Awards 2025 is a clear reflection of that commitment, where our merchants' success is directly powered by real customer voices and everyday dining experiences," he added.
Grab expanded its award categories by 54%, resulting in a 91% increase in recognised local brands compared to last year
The platform saw total voter participation increase by 45%, while the number of users voting for finalists grew by 59%, highlighting how customer feedback continues to shape the country's dining landscape.
The awards have also expanded beyond food delivery with the introduction of the Grab Dine Out Category, recognising restaurants that consistently deliver memorable dine-in experiences.
