IKEA Malaysia has announced price reductions on its best-selling products to help customers cope with inflation and the rising cost of living

The Swedish furniture retailer is lowering the prices of 2,000 home furnishings, making them more affordable and accessible during this challenging financial period.

By cutting prices, IKEA aims to ease the financial strain on households, allowing them to buy essential items without breaking the bank.

"Worldwide, retail had a tough year, and so did we. But coming together to turn a challenge into an advantage is the very essence of our Ikano and IKEA company culture.

"We're passing on savings where we can because we know how tough it can be for households with thinner wallets," shared Christian Roejkjaer, CEO of Ikano Retail, the company that owns IKEA Malaysia, in a statement to The New Straits Times.
