Nanyang Art Supplies, a popular stationery store in Petaling Street, will be closing down for good

Established in 1943, the shop has been around for the past 81 years, offering art supplies, such as acrylic paints, colour pencils, markers, charcoal sticks, watercolour papers, and more.

A viral Facebook post by YKwan Lau, whose grandparents owned the store, revealed that the shop is currently closed.

However, according to her, it will re-open for two days from 10am to 4pm on 20 and 21 July for a closure sale with items up to 75% off

In the comments, she mentioned that her uncle, who currently runs the business, is shutting it down so that he can retire.

Her Facebook post has been shared 1,200 times, with many reminiscing about the times they visited the store growing up
