Traditional snacks are irreplaceable. There's something comforting about eating them that makes you feel like you're entering a different time.

For many of us, it takes us back to our childhood and the memories we had.

Sin Hwa Bee Bakery in KL is an old shop in Chow Kit selling traditional Chinese pastries and biscuits.

For over six decades, the owners have been baking and specialising in making ga lui beng (traditional Chinese wedding biscuits).

As you enter, you'll be greeted by large, glass jars with metal lids filled with your favourite biscuits and snacks

You'll find everything from kacang biscuits and tau sar piah to wafers and other biscuits that were especially popular in the '80s and '90s.

Rows of metal biscuit tins line the walls and serve as a barrier between the shopfront and the kitchen.

At the back of the shop, elderly chefs work tirelessly rolling and making pastries and biscuits from scratch

It's nice to see that places like this have stood the test of time.
