With International Day for Biological Diversity (IDB) just around the corner, Gamuda Land is bringing you a slew of exciting activities for the whole family at this two-day weekend event!
Set to take place at Gamuda Cove, this upcoming event is part of Gamuda Land's biodiversity awareness campaign themed Wonders of Wetlands, which is all about highlighting the beauty of the country's wetlands and our role in treasuring and nurturing them.
Here are all the deets:
International Day for Biological Diversity 2023
Date: 20 - 21 May 2023
Time: 10am - 7pm
Venue: Gamuda Cove Experience Gallery
From 20 to 21 May, you and your loved ones will learn more about reducing your carbon footprint with fun activities, all while enjoying scrumptious meals from the available food trucks. There's even gonna be plenty of bazaars for you to shop to your heart's content.
Oh, and did we mention you'll even be rewarded with sustainable door gifts from brands such as L'OCCITANE, Starbucks, Uniqlo, and more for participating in all the fun? :O
1. Your kids will have a deeper appreciation for the wetlands with these specially prepared workshops
Open for kids aged 4 to 12, here's the list of workshops they can attend:
- Rock Painting

- DIY Air Plant Holder

2. Take part in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) challenges

4. Check out the 11 winning entries of Gamuda Land's Biodiversity Photography Contest, which will display beautifully captured photos of the natural environment!
ICYMI, the Biodiversity Photography Contest took place from 20 April to 10 May, where participants were tasked with capturing and sharing what 'the beauty of nature' meant to them in any Gamuda Land township.
