This Restaurant Serves The First Sizzling Porterhouse Steak In Malaysia And It Is Sublime
Maria's Steak Cafe has introduced the first sizzling porterhouse in Malaysia and we got to try it!
The Porterhouse steak is often referred to as the "King of Steaks" due to its decadent cut of meat.
It offers the best of both worlds, part striploin, which is full of texture and buttery flavour due to its fatty marbling, and part tenderloin, known as the most tender of high-end cuts of beef, this filet melts in your mouth.
To level up the Porterhouse, Maria's Steak Cafe grills and sears the Australian Black Angus cut at high heat until a deep brown crust forms, before transferring it on a ceramic plate
Completing the cooking process in the oven, the Porterhouse is served sizzling hot and pre-sliced.
Basted with a mix of melted brown butter and beef tallow, you're presented with a gorgeous cut of meat that is packed with flavour, melts in your mouth, and is an absolute meat-lover's dream.
In line with Ramadan, the famed steakhouse has launched Hari Raya sets for both beef lovers and non-beef eaters
Kick off your meal with beef or chicken skewers. Both the beef and chicken are so tender and juicy on their own. But paired with the sauce on the side, it elevates the flavour even further and is seriously addictive.
Next, you'll be served mushroom soup that is creamy, rich, and decadent. The finely chopped mix of mushrooms will have you coming back for more, while the croutons on top add that much needed crunch and pack extra garlic deliciousness.
Of course, the pièce de résistance is the main course.
Beef lovers can enjoy the Black Angus T-Bone (600g-700g), or top up RM70++ for the delectable Porterhouse. Juicy and succulent with the most exquisite beef flavour, the Porterhouse is definitely our recommendation!
The Porterhouse is topped with thinly sliced, deep fried battered onions, that add a sweet and salty crunch, rounding out the dish beautifully.

For non-beef eaters, there are several options. New Zealand lamb cutlets that are simply divine, and delicious Canadian seabass. Or you can opt for a set for four people and enjoy spaghetti seafood aglio olio and grilled salmon, in addition to the New Zealand lamb cutlets.
