Located in Bangsar, Ombak Kitchen is known for their 'shell-out' style seafood spread where people just eat from the table with their bare hands

According to their website, they encourage diners to crack and pound the seafood on the table.

"Make all the noise and mess you want. We do it the good old-fashioned way. No cutlery, no tableware, and no fuss."

You can enjoy a premium selection of Alaskan king crab, Canadian lobster, and oysters at this nautical-themed restaurant

Customers are first asked to choose from four different seafood combos that feature either crab, crayfish, or lobster.

Each combo, which starts from RM159 for two to three pax, comes with a serving of mussels, clams, squid, and sides like corn, broccoli, and rice.

You can then complement the combos with other add-ons such as snow crab and rock lobster from their premium seafood selection or you can also opt for dishes like garlic bread, chicken wings, and nachos.

However, what really makes this restaurant stand out is its variety of sauces.

It not only adds flavour, but also really brings out the freshness of the seafood!

Their specialties are the creamy zesty lemon, crazy cajun, creamy tom yum, buttermilk, and spicy chocolate sauce.

Our personal favourite is the crazy cajun sauce as it adds a good kick of spice and smokiness to the whole meal.

It's just the right kind of spicy and we're a little embarrassed to admit it, but we totally licked it off of our fingers at the end of the meal.

So, what are you waiting for? Grab a seafood lover and go!
