3 Policemen Arrested For Allegedly Using Police Car To Commit Armed Robbery In Selangor
The suspects allegedly robbed a Burmese tenant of RM35,000 in cash and jewellery.

Three police officers have been arrested for allegedly committing an armed robbery in Semenyih, Selangor on Wednesday, 31 July
Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said two suspects, aged 32 and 35, were arrested at the General Operations Force's base in Cheras at 12.20am during an operation on Wednesday, reported FMT.
Meanwhile, another 24-year-old suspect turned himself in at the Kajang police headquarters yesterday, 1 August.
According to China Press, the three police officers allegedly drove two vehicles, one of which was a police vehicle, to rob a house in Kampung Pasir.
After committing the robbery, the suspects, armed with two automatic pistols and a Taser, fired five warning shots at a passing police patrol vehicle before fleeing the scene.
The suspects were reportedly wearing police uniforms during the robbery, and two other individuals, believed to be civilians, were also involved in the crime.

The case is currently being investigated under Section 3 of the Firearms (Increased Penalties) Act 1971, which deals with the discharge of a firearm in the commission of an offence, reported FMT.
If convicted, the suspects could face the death penalty or up to 40 years in jail and 12 strokes of the cane.
Hussein stated that the police will not tolerate criminal acts committed by any senior or junior officers.
