52 Rescued Doggos In Seri Kembangan Desperately Need Donations For Food
52 stray dogs rescued by a grandmother in Seri Kembangan are in desperate need of donations for food
In February, authorities were notified to catch stray dogs in a neighbourhood in Seri Kembangan.
Wanting to prevent them from getting sent to a pound where they may be euthanised, a woman's grandmother, Shui Fen, decided to shelter some of these dogs.
While looking for people to adopt the animals, Shui Fen's granddaughter, Vanessa, shared with SAYS that a pet shop offers them kibbles every month at a supplier's rate
La Mode Pets in Kuchai Lama supplies 30 bags of 15kg kibbles every month and does not make any profit from it.
"On top of that, the pet shop personally sponsors four crates of wet food under their expenses monthly," Vanessa wrote in a Facebook post earlier this month.
She explained that her grandmother initially rescued 27 dogs, but the number increased when people began dumping more at their home
"I used to post the address on Facebook for kibbles [but] people started dumping dogs. That's why now we are keeping our address confidential," she told SAYS.
In the meantime, Vanessa is looking for a shoplot to rent so that they can house these dogs while they look for people who will give them loving homes.
You can help keep the dogs alive by donating directly to the pet shop and send Vanessa proof of payment so that they can keep track
One bag of 15kg Chunk Bits costs RM140 and they need 30 bags every month.
Vanessa explained that her grandmother is very firm about not receiving monetary donations directly to their accounts and would rather have people pay the pet shop for the dog food.
You can bank in straight to La Mode Pets at Hong Leong Bank 04000124906.
Then send the proof of payment through WhatsApp to +6011-26384184.
SAYS verified with La Mode Pets and they confirmed that they have an agreement with Shui Fen.
