A police report was lodged against a man who was seen brutalising his wife in a video that recently went viral
In the 67-second video, a long-haired man was seen verbally and physically abusing a woman, believed to be his new wife, by dragging her by the hair and kicking her in the face.
The viral footage also captured a little girl crying and pleading in fear.
The incident enraged many people and the assailant was reported to the police, as confirmed by the Kajang district police chief ACP Mohd Zaid Hassan, according to Bernama.

Reduan Mahmood, 58, was charged under Section 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt to Adrina Mohd Ariff, 45, by hitting and kicking her at their home at Batu 9, Cheras, on 14 November.
Magistrate Nik Siti Norazlini Nik Mohamed Faiz handed down the sentence on the businessman after he pleaded guilty to the charge.
According to Bernama, the court has ordered a prison sentence for the accused starting on the day of his arrest, 19 November. He will serve another month in jail if he doesn't pay the fine.

However, the deputy public prosecutor had urged for a deterrent sentence as a lesson for the accused to be wiser in his actions in the future.
