Anwar: Second Chance For People Struggling With Drug Dependency

During the tabling of Budget 2024 in parliament today, 13 October, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said that individuals struggling with drug use could be given a second chance
He said the government will table amendments to the Drug Dependants (Treatment and Rehabilitation) Act 1983 in order to enable drug dependant individuals to seek treatment and rehabilitation without going to jail.
