A man, who is said to be a 'Datuk Seri', is accused of attacking a woman after she rejected his advances at a restaurant in Selangor

Citing an exclusive report by a local Chinese daily, Hype reported that the victim is a 23-year-old Thai woman and the man was believed to be drunk during the attack.

The incident is said to have taken place in a seafood restaurant in Klang on 9 December.

Photos published by the Chinese daily show that the woman is bleeding on the chin below her right eye, as well as her nose.

She was reportedly dining at the restaurant with a few friends before the drunk man approached her.

The man allegedly groped her, which took the victim by surprise

Following that, she avoided the man's touch and it angered the drunk man.

The 'Datuk Seri' then allegedly began hitting her until her nose bled. A friend of the victim helped her to stop the bleeding.

After that, she tried to escape the restaurant but she was stopped by a man.

Once she managed to escape, she went to a police station to file a police report against the man.

The assailant is said to be a well-known local businessman.

The police are currently investigating the case, adding that it will verify the validity of the assailant's title

South Klang district police chief ACP Cha Hoong Fong said the case is currently being investigated for causing harm and molestation, reported The Star.
