Earlier today, 26 February, Anwar Ibrahim took to his social media accounts to take a moment from the current political turmoil to celebrate four decades of being married to Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail
"40 years of kindness, 40 years of courage, 40 years of loyalty, 40 years of strength," read the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) president's latest post on Instagram.
"I am everything I am today because of the love of my life. Happy Anniversary, Dr Wan Azizah, and may Allah grant us many more years together."
Dr Wan Azizah expressed her gratitude towards her husband in a slightly more poetic manner. On her Instagram, she said no matter what comes their way "whether rain or sun we will still be together".
Both of them are scheduled to meet with Yang di-Pertuan Agong (YDPA) Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah today
The Agong has consented to personally meeting all 222 Members of Parliament (MPs) one by one over two days to find a solution to the current state of political uncertainty looming over Malaysia.
On Tuesday, a total of 90 MPs were at Istana Negara to meet with the Agong. The remaining 132 are at the Palace today for their round of interviews.
