Klang Girl Molested & Nearly Sold To Prostitution Ring After Being Kidnapped
The victim was found safe on 12 October.
A 12-year-old girl who was abducted after she leaving her flat to retrieve food was molested and nearly sold to a prostitution ring in Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur
Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan said the victim was taken to an apartment unit in Setia Alam, Shah Alam, where two suspects, aged 13 and 23, molested her while she was held captive for four days, reported Harian Metro.
"When the victim was abducted, there were two men and two women inside a car. She was brought to a rented apartment, given an e-cigarette laced with intoxicants, and then molested.
"There were signs of physical abuse, but they were not severe," Hussein said.
The state police chief revealed that the victim was nearly sold to a prostitution ring in Chow Kit, but the deal fell through when the police publicised her disappearance
He said the crime syndicate rejected the deal and ordered the girl's abductors to send her home via an e-hailing service.
Hussein said the police arrested six individuals based on the information provided by the victim, including the two males who had molested her, reported the New Straits Times.
"The victim knew two of the six suspects arrested. One of them is her brother's ex-lover.
"That's why she agreed to follow the suspect into the vehicle," said Hussein.
The police are currently looking for two other suspects linked to the prostitution syndicate.
On 8 October, the victim went missing at a flat in Bandar Baru Tinggi 1, Klang around 2.20pm after her mother asked her to retrieve food from a car
The mother began looking for her at 3pm and filed a missing person report at the Klang Selatan district police headquarters at around 9pm.
The victim was found safe on 12 October.
