After three decades of nurturing world-class musical talent, the International College of Music (ICOM) has announced that it will be shutting its doors permanently

Based on an official notice, the esteemed institution will cease its administrative operations on 18 December 2026.

For 30 years, ICOM has trained aspiring musicians from across Asia and contributed to the region's creative arts industry.

According to the official statement, the closure follows a compulsory campus land acquisition by the government

The college noted that all academic activities will officially conclude by 31 August 2026, giving current students and faculty a brief window to complete their studies and conclude their time at the campus before operations end.

"We thank all stakeholders for your trust and support over the years," the statement read, marking a bittersweet farewell to its community.
