Malaysia Hits New Record With 9,180 COVID-19 Cases In A Day

Selangor alone reported 4,400 cases.

Malaysia has recorded 9,180 new COVID-19 cases today, 9 July

According to the Ministry of Health's Twitter account, the total number of COVID-19 cases reported in Malaysia to date is now 817,838.

Previously, the highest number of COVID-19 cases reported in a day in Malaysia was 9,020 on 29 May.

The second highest number of cases ever was yesterday, 8 July, with 8,868 cases.

Selangor, once again, recorded the highest number among all states

Out of today's total, Selangor alone reported 4,400 cases.

Meanwhile, the next highest territory was Kuala Lumpur at 1,271 cases.
