Several parts of the Klang Valley are flooded due to a heavy thunderstorm since early this morning, 15 October, leading to waterlogging inside buildings and major traffic disruptions on the roads

On social media, Malaysians have shared alarming photos and videos, showing a city paralysed by the flash floods

Areas such as Universiti Malaysia can be seen submerged in floodwaters:

Uptown Damansara is facing rising flood levels:

A similar situation was observed around the Taman Melati LRT station in Setapak:

In Taman Melawati, there appears to have been a landslide:

The area around Zoo Negara has also experienced flooding:

Jalan Parlimen leading to Bukit Aman has also been flooded:

Ampang and Wangsa Maju have also been badly affected:

Kampung Segambut has also reported flooding:

Meanwhile, firefighters rescued 21 children from a flash flood at Jalan Hulu Klang, Batu 8:
