A 14-year-old girl in Baling, Kedah, shocked her mother when she delivered a baby after complaining that she had trouble defecating

The teenager, a Form 2 student, was brought to Baling Hospital by her mother, who had no idea her daughter was pregnant, reported Harian Metro.

"According to the testimony given, the woman stated that her daughter complained of being unable to defecate before she noticed blood running down the teenager's leg while she was at their home," a source told Harian Metro.

The doctor informed her mother that she had given birth to a healthy baby girl after being admitted to the hospital for two hours.

Suspecting that the pregnancy was a result of rape, the mother then filed a police report

The mother had previously noticed a change in the physical shape of her daughter's body over the past three months, but the teenager denied being pregnant and only told her that she had gained weight.

She also said that she noticed a clear fluid on her daughter's mattress, but when she asked her daughter about the mysterious stain, the teenager replied that she had accidentally urinated.

The police took a statement from the student, and she claimed to have had sex with two men in their 20s who also lived in the same village as her

"The victim claimed that she willingly had sex with the two men three times since last February after meeting them through a female friend at her school," said the source.

The teenager suspected that the child resulted from her relationship with one of those men.

Baling district police chief Supt Shamsudin Mamat confirmed receiving a report about the incident but refused to comment further as the investigation is still ongoing.

"So far, we are still tracking the suspect to assist with the investigation," he said.
