Perak Teen Allegedly Kills Friend Who Was Bothering His GF & Throws Corpse Into Drain
Police said the murder was allegedly driven by jealousy.
A 17-year-old teen has been arrested for allegedly killing a friend who kept bothering his girlfriend
Hilir Perak district police chief ACP Ahmad Adnan Basri said the suspect and the deceased were neighbours in Teluk Intan, Perak, reported New Straits Times.
According to him, the suspect is believed to have killed his 21-year-old friend on 20 August before throwing the body into a drain near Jalan Pasir Kampung Sungai Payung Baroh, Rungkup.
"The suspect allegedly committed the murder because he was jealous of the deceased, who was bothering his 20-year-old girlfriend.
"The suspect is currently being remanded for seven days until 1 September to assist in the investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code (for murder)," Ahmad Adnan told Harian Metro.

A post-mortem conducted at Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital revealed that the victim succumbed to injuries to his head and neck, reported Bernama.
Ahmad Adnan said the suspect was later arrested in Hutan Melintang on 26 August, and has since confessed to the murder.
The district police chief also denied a viral online claim alleging that there were two murder victims in the incident.
