Beloved content creator and entrepreneur Khairulaming emerged as a shining star by bagging the 'Creator of the Year' award at TikTok Awards Malaysia 2023
The inaugural event, which took place at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) Kuala Lumpur today, 27 August, celebrated content creation by honouring the diversity of authentic local creators who are pushing boundaries, inspiring their communities, and shaping the industry.
For the past few weeks, the public has been voting for their favourite content creators in the People's Choice categories.
To take home the most prestigious award of the night, @khairulaming was up against other incredible creators, @bossjames_oe, @lawyergandhi, @auntiepurple248, @sallywhoo, and @ceddyornot.

With a unique blend of storytelling and innovative content, he captivated the hearts of millions of viewers with his video recipes.
In early 2021, the 31-year-old launched 'Sambal Nyet Berapi' that became so successful, he made RM1 million in sales within just three months.
By 2022, his business grew to RM21.5 million in revenue, earning him the 'Best New Seller' and 'Best Customer Service' awards by Shopee.
