TikTok Awards M'sia Reveal Judge's Pick Nominees. Here Are The Creators Who Made The Cut
The annual event celebrates content creation and honours the diversity of beloved local creators.

The TikTok Awards are happening in Malaysia for the first time!
The annual event will be taking place on 27 August at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) Kuala Lumpur.
A celebration of content creation, the TikTok Awards honour the diversity of authentic local creators who are pushing boundaries, inspiring their communities, and shaping the industry.

Image via TikTok (Provided to SAYS)The awards show will be graced by well-loved Malaysian celebrities and creators including Dato Yusof Haslam, Bell Ngasri, Amber Chia, Dr Jalaluddin Hassan, Farah Ann Abdul Hadi, and more, who will be presenting the awards on the big stage.
Viewers can also expect to be entertained by exciting performances from Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza, Ziana Zain, Zeppo, DOLLA, Marsha Milan, Ernie Zakri, Alyph, and other impressive artists!
The TikTok Awards Main Show will be hosted by Izzue Islam, Sherry Alhadad, and Amelia Henderson, while the Red Carpet event will be hosted by Ceddy and Sissy Iman. Backstage moments, on the other hand, will be hosted by Jaa Suzuran and Neeta Manis.

Providing a diverse range of topics from education to food creation to beauty tutorials, the creator community on TikTok are able to carve their own niche and following through the years. Today, many of them are online celebrities in their own right and they continue to leave their mark on the For You Page (FYP).
"We are thrilled to bring Malaysians the highly anticipated TikTok Awards! This stellar event will commemorate the outstanding achievements and monumental efforts of our creators who are the backbone of the platform," said Yin Yin Hooi, Head of Marketing and Operations, TikTok Malaysia
"As THE creator event of the year, we are delighted to receive keen participation from brands on- and offline as this will contribute to the awards becoming a springboard for creators to gain more exposure to work with some of the biggest brands in town," Hooi added.
She went on to explain, "The theme 'Big on the Small Screen' demonstrates the endless possibilities for our creators to amplify and bring their success to the big stage, just as what we will be witnessing come 27 August!"

In the Judge's Pick, nominees are selected based on the determined criteria and the decision is made by an executive panel which includes Media Prima Television Networks and Primeworks Studios Chief Executive Officer, Nini Yusof, prolific performer and honorary guest Hael Husaini, and TikTok General Manager Operations & Marketing, Southeast Asia, Angga Anugrah Putra.
The nominees in the six categories were announced at the TikTok Awards press conference on 15 August.

For People's Choice, TikTok is opening the voting to the public where fans can show their support by voting for their favourite creators. Here are the nominees:

And, of course, no awards show is complete without the spotlight on some of the best fashion styles that will be gracing the event
With that, TikTok will also be presenting the Best Dressed Award to the attendee who scores the highest points in style and originality. The public will have the honour of determining the best dressed participant for the night, from a shortlist selected by a panel of judges.
