Police Arrest Man In Johor For Slashing His Neighbour's Cheek Using A Paper Cutter Knife
The case will be investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing grievous hurt.
A 29-year-old man from Johor Bahru was recently arrested for slashing a woman's cheek

Harian Metro reported that the incident took place around 3pm on Monday, 27 April.
The victim, 21-year-old Nurshaila Nordin, was attacked near her family home in Taman Daya. The attack was unprovoked and the perpetrator fled the scene after.
The victim's brother recently went viral after he wrote about the incident on social media. He explained that his sister was gathering banana leaves outside their home when the man suddenly chased her down and assaulted her.
The post has since garnered 4,600 shares on Facebook.
According to the police, the suspect had used a paper cutter knife
Johor police chief Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said the suspect was arrested yesterday at Taman Bukit Mutiara.
Authorities have also seized the paper cutter knife.
Ayob Khan told Malay Mail, "Police will apply for the suspect to be remanded at the Johor Bahru Magistrate's Court tomorrow under Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CPC)."
Initial investigations found that the suspect is unemployed and has a record for drug-related offences

If found guilty, the man could face 20 years in prison, and also be liable to a fine or to whipping.
Meanwhile, the victim has received treatment at the Sultan Ismail Hospital.
