60 puppies were rescued and are desperately in need of a new home

In a Facebook post, a canine welfare initiative called Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better (MDDB) is urging the public to adopt its puppies.

The puppies were retrieved from different locations including Pulau Indah, Cyberjaya, and Setia Alam.

"Puppies dropping on us from all directions. Please help by giving them homes. All will be rehomed," MDDB urged Malaysians in its post on Thursday, 7 October.

An adoption drive will be held on Sunday, 11 October from 11am to 6pm

The adoption drive will be conducted at the main entrance of Citta Mall in Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya.
