Selangor Residents Without Vaccination Appointments Can Now Walk In For COVID-19 Jab
Each PPV will operate for approximately two to seven days with 1,300 doses of the vaccine allocated for each day.

The Selangor state government announced that they have launched a walk-in vaccination programme throughout the state starting today, 2 August
Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari told Utusan Malaysia that residents who have yet to receive vaccination appointments may now walk in at 12 vaccination centres (PPV).
He said that the programme is meant to facilitate the vaccination process in addition to appointments given out through the MySejahtera and Selangkah applications.
"The programme will kick start on 2 August and it is subject to the schedule by relevant state assemblies," he explained.
He added that each PPV will operate for approximately two days with 1,300 doses of the vaccine allocated for each day.
The programme will be held until 2 September at different community halls in Selangor
The locations of the PPVs include Dewan Banting Baru in Morib, Dewan Pandan Indah, Dewan Majlis Bandar Baru in Kuala Selangor, and Dewan Dato' Abdul Hamid in Batang Kali.
This is followed by Dewan Sekolah Cina in Ijok, Dewan Orang Ramai Hulu Bernam, Dewan Seri Siantan in Selayang, Dewan Sri Cempaka Kajang, Dewan Eng Ann in Klang, Dewan Komunity Putra Perdana in Dengkil, Dewan MRSM Sungai Besar, and Dewan MPAJ AU5 in Ampang.
Some PPVs will hold the walk-in vaccination programme twice.
Amirudin added that 65.5% of adults in Selangor have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine
"Herd immunity is expected to be achieved when 80% of the adult population is vaccinated," he added.
He also noted that the free SelVax Community programme will continue until 11 August to expedite the implementation of the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme.
"The move is hoped to complete the capacity surge operations that are being mobilised in the Greater Klang Valley," he explained.
