SG YouTuber Dee Kosh Charged For Sexually Exploiting Teenagers And Making Obscene Films
The 32-year-old was accused of offering money to teenagers so he could perform a sex act on them.

Singaporean YouTuber and former disc jockey Dee Kosh was recently charged in court for multiple sex-related offences
According to The Straits Times, the YouTuber, whose real name is Darryl Ian Koshy, was handed seven charges in a district court today, 19 August.
The charges include communicating with a minor for the purpose of obtaining sexual services, sexually exploiting a young person, making an obscene film, and possessing an obscene film.
His bail was set at SGD20,000 (RM62,165.41) and his case has been adjourned to 15 September.

CNA reported that in February 2017, he allegedly offered to pay a 16-year-old about SGD2,000 (RM6,216.74).
In July 2018, he then reportedly offered another 17-year-old up to SGD1,000 (RM3,108.37) for a similar sexual act.
Dee Kosh is also accused of asking a 15-year-old to perform sexual acts on him between March and June 2018.
The most recent case was in August 2020 where he allegedly offered another 17-year-old SGD1,000 to perform oral sex on him.
He is also accused of making two obscene films named '00001' and '00007' at a flat in Woodlands between 2016 and 2017, and possessing 23 obscene videos at his flat on 5 October 2020.

However, he then addressed the matter in an Instagram post which he captioned, "I'm sorry."
The YouTuber with over 188,000 followers on Instagram wrote, "There is truth to some of the things which are being said now, and I am sorry to the people I have hurt in the process."
In Singapore, the Children and Young Persons Act states that individuals found guilty of sexual exploitation of a young person are liable to five years of jail, a fine of up to SGD10,000 (RM31,080.43), or both.
CNA also reported that if found guilty of communications for the purpose of obtaining sexual services of a minor, Dee Kosh could be jailed for up to two years and fined.
Meanwhile, the punishments for making an obscene film are a jail term of up to two years and a fine of between SGD20,000 (RM62,160.86) and SGD40,000 (RM124,321.72).
The punishments for possessing obscene films are a maximum of six months' jail, a fine of up to SGD20,000, or both.
