It's been four days since the US election day ended on 3 November. However, a winner has yet to be declared as the vote count continues.

As of this writing, Joe Biden is projected to have won 264 Electoral college votes and President Donald Trump is at 214. The numbers have remained the same since Tuesday.

The first to win 270 Electoral votes will win the presidency. There are a total of 538 Electoral votes.

At current count, 60 Electoral votes remain to be announced.

President Donald Trump needs 56 votes to continue his second-term, while his challenger Joe Biden needs only six more votes in order to make Trump a one-term president and go to the White House.

As vote tallies show Trump heading for defeat, he is now trying to discredit the election results by warning Biden against "wrongfully" claiming the presidency, saying he could make the same claim

The US President's attempt to discredit results come after his Democratic rival consolidated his lead over Trump in Pennsylvania, a key state in the US presidential race, according to a report in BBC.

The report stated that Biden is ahead by nearly 29,000 votes, with 99% counted.

"If he takes the state, he will win the election," the report said.

Trump has also demanded "explanation" about this electoral numbers

Meanwhile, Biden is on the verge of taking the presidency after he has taken a lead in Pennsylvania, which has 20 Electoral votes

In Pennsylvania, Biden's lead inexorably grew as final batches of ballots were added up.

At the time of this writing, Biden has 3,337,069 votes, while Trump has 3,308,192.

Biden is currently leading the state with over 28,000 votes.

Although it's still within the narrow margin with some 50,000 votes remaining to be counted, should Biden wins Pennsylvania, he will automatically cross the threshold for winning the presidency.
