Foodpanda Rider Whose Motorcycle Was Stolen Receives A New One From Selangor Queen

Selangor queen Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin has gifted a new motorcycle to a Foodpanda delivery rider, whose motorcycle was recently stolen while she was on the job in Batu Caves, Gombak

In a statement on Friday, 6 November, the Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor said that she sympathised with the fate that befell Foodpanda delivery rider Nur Athirah Abdul Latiff.

Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin also said that she felt very sad and overwhelmed when she came to know about Nur Athirah and how she has been working hard to support her mother and siblings.

Nur Athirah, who is the second child and has two siblings, lives with her mother in Batu Caves. She has taken on the role as the family's breadwinner by doing full-time food delivery work.

The Selangor queen hopes that the contribution will enable Nur Athirah to return to her job so that she continues to support her family

She also hopes that the community out there is more humane and considerate of each other.
