A video of two men fighting each other at the Bukit Kiara toll plaza recently went viral

On Wednesday, 18 September, the Royal Malaysia Police Facebook page shared a video of the road rage incident.

According to Astro Awani, the incident happened around 4.30pm near the Kerinchi Link.

The video has since garnered 49,000 views and 1,000 likes.

The scuffle reportedly broke out after a man driving a Toyota Hiace van got annoyed when his vehicle was blocked by a Mazda CX5

The Star reported that the Toyota van driver grew annoyed when the Mazda driver kept overtaking him and abruptly stepping on the brakes once he was in front.

Once both vehicles halted at the toll plaza, the men got out of their cars and started throwing punches at each other.

Both men sustained injuries from the incident

Acting Brickfields Police District Chief Supt Arifai Tarawe told Malay Mail that the van driver suffered injuries to his knees.

Meanwhile, the other man suffered head, arm, and leg injuries.

Arifai also advised motorists to be patient and tolerant while on the road to avoid such incidents from occurring in the future.

Police are currently investigating the case under Section 160 of the Penal Code for causing hurt.
