<p>The 21-year-old Schweighart, a college student and aspiring actress from Puerto Princesa City, failed to make it to the top 16.</br><br />After she bowed out of the competition, she posted a video of her wearing a gown, which was designed by Leo Almodal.</br></p>

<p>The gown was later worn by Espin when she was crowned Miss Earth 2016.</br></p>
<p>The Filipina beauty queen earlier caught the attention of netizens after likening Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler in a Facebook live video. </br><br />In the video, Schweighart asked Miss Earth Austria 2016 Kimberly Budinsky if Hitler was from her country. </br></p>
