You Can Now Trade In Your Old Apple Devices For New Ones

You can trade in your old iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, Macs, and more for credits up to RM11,650.

Apple Malaysia has launched a new trade-in scheme, allowing customers to exchange their old devices for up to RM11,650 in credit towards new purchases

The initiative, which includes iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and Macs, offers credits ranging from RM150 to RM11,650, depending on the model of the device you're trading in.

Here's how you can apply for the trade-in scheme when purchasing Apple devices online

DESKTOP

STEP 1:
Head over to Apple's website.

STEP 2: At the top menu, hover on either Store, Mac, iPad, iPhone, or Watch.

STEP 3: Click on Apple Trade-In to continue with your purchase.


MOBILE

STEP 1: Head over to Apple's website.

STEP 2: Head over to the either Mac, iPad, iPhone or Watch product pages.

STEP 3: Click on the Apple Trade-In widget to continue with your purchase.

Once you've successfully applied for the trade-in, you'll receive an email instruction from Apple with instructions on boxing and shipping arrangements.

These are the Apple devices you can trade in

For iPhones, you can trade in your old iPhone 6 Plus until the latest iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Meanwhile, for the Apple Watch, you can trade in the Apple Watch Series 5 all the way up to the latest Apple Watch Ultra.

iPad lovers can trade in the iPad mini, iPad, iPad Air, and iPad Pro and if you're in the market for a Mac, you can trade in your old Mac Pro or the latest MacBook Pro.

You can also recycle older devices for free and these include peripherals such as cables, cases, monitors, and more

Simply choose ‘Other-Recycling’ or choose ‘Other’ when asked “Who made your tablet?” and follow the remaining steps.

Apple will arrange for your device to be recycled. Any excess credit will be refunded via a gift card.
