Own Xbox Games? Ubisoft Is Letting You Claim Free PC Versions

Because your console games should follow you to PC too.

If you have been building up a library of Ubisoft games on your Xbox, your PC gaming setup is about to get a major upgrade

Microsoft and Ubisoft have expanded their partnership, allowing owners of eligible digital Xbox games to claim PC versions of select titles for free.

According to Microsoft, anyone who already owns digital Xbox editions of the games below can now redeem their PC counterparts via Ubisoft Connect at no additional cost:

  • Assassin's Creed Mirage
  • Assassin's Creed Valhalla
  • Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
  • Far Cry 6
  • Immortals Fenyx Rising
  • Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
  • Riders Republic
  • Skull and Bones
  • The Crew 2
  • The Crew Motorfest
  • Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction
  • Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege
  • Watch Dogs Legion

The rollout for existing digital owners will continue until 4 August. Going forward, anyone who purchases the digital Xbox version of an eligible game will automatically receive its PC digital version as well.

The update also brings premium game editions and add-on content directly to the Xbox app on PC.

Popular titles such as Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six SiegeSkull and Bones, and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown are among the games included in the update.

Most downloadable content (DLC) and season passes will transfer between Xbox and PC at no additional cost

However, consumable items and in-game currencies will not carry over.

Keep in mind that the offer only works one way. Owning the PC version of an eligible game will not entitle you to a free Xbox copy, so ensure your Ubisoft Connect app is updated before claiming your free PC versions.
