If you've been using Grab for a while, you'll probably be pretty familiar with the app and its features, such as GrabFood and GrabMart.

But one thing you may not know is that Grab actually has a feature that lets you send food, groceries, and more to over 100 cities in seven Southeast Asian countries, woah!

Known as Grab 100+ Cities Delivery, it allows you to send GrabFood or GrabMart delivery items to your friends or loved ones, including to 27 cities within Malaysia!

The innovative feature enables individuals to express their care and affection through a thoughtful gesture, despite the distance.

With our hectic lifestyle, finding the time to show appreciation and love to those who matter can be challenging. However, a simple gesture can really make someone's day, whether you're sending a hearty meal or sweet treat to your friend who is going through a hard time, or helping your parents at home settle groceries and purchase their supplements.

This lesser known feature has been available on Grab for a while now, and it's super easy to use too!

We wanted to try sending GrabFood to a friend in Sandakan, and after keying in his address, the process was pretty straightforward

While the interface was relatively familiar, what we found interesting was that GrabFood in Sandakan came with its own unique listings of restaurants and promos. Not being too sure of what to order, we went for the tried-and-tested choice, a.k.a. Grab Signatures!

From here, ordering something for friends or loved ones was pretty much a breeze. We picked out some food and drinks, and checked out like usual.

Here's a look at what we ended up ordering, and the cool thing was that we could make use of all the promos and savings, such as our GrabUnlimited Free Delivery, which saved us RM3 just like that.

What's amazing about this feature is that it allows you to order from GrabFood and GrabMart merchant partners in specific cities, all within an hour!

At times, we may miss out on special occasions and celebrations because we live in a different city for work purposes. However, that doesn't mean we can't celebrate with our loved ones from afar.

Whether you're looking to surprise your siblings or a friend with a birthday treat or simply send a pick-me-up to a colleague, Grab can alleviate your worries with its delivery-within-an-hour feature.

Apart from that, you could also cherish treasured memories by sending your childhood friend in a different state a pack of snacks you used to eat together during recess. You'll get to choose from various GrabMart merchants like MyNews, BilaBila Mart, Hero Mart, and many other convenience stores.

Or, you could also show your parents back in your hometown that you miss them with a simple order of tong sui that your mom used to make every weekend. For those who are in a long distance relationship with their partner, you'll be able to send them whatever it is they are craving with GrabFood as there are endless food choices of various cuisines, from higher-end restaurants to local street stalls.

Check out the array of GrabFood merchants in Penang, Ipoh, or wherever your loved ones are!

With the holiday season approaching, now is the perfect time to express your love and appreciation for someone in a different city by sending a small gift.

Conveniently, you can make this gesture with Grab's 100+ Cities Delivery feature!

If you're not a Grab user, download and register an account on Grab either on Google Play or the App Store today!
