KFit Group - a subscription-based fitness sharing service - acquired the popular e-commerce marketplace in November last year.

The local insights of Groupon Malaysia’s team and KFit Group’s technology expertise will make a winning combination," said Joel Neoh, founder of KFit Group, during the acquisition.

Moving on, Fave will inherit Groupon Malaysia's existing base of customers, allowing the company to provide exclusive deals from restaurants, spas, and fitness centres to more than three million subscribers

“It is more than just putting a new name to Groupon. Fave is a homegrown brand developed and headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, and it is now used by millions of users and thousands of businesses across Southeast Asia including Jakarta and Singapore,” Neoh said as quoted by Marketing Interactive.
