A video of a humanoid robot attempting to perform to Michael Jackson has gone viral online after the performance descended into chaos
In the clip, filmed at a robotics event in Shenzhen, China, the robot confidently walks onto the stage while Billie Jean plays in the background, appearing ready to channel its inner King of Pop.
Unfortunately, things quickly go downhill.

Just seconds into the performance, the robot lost its balance and crashed onto the floor in front of the crowd
The robot, identified as the AGIBOT Expedition A3, initially looked surprisingly confident as it "moonwalked" its way across the stage.
Audience members filmed the moment on their phones as the machine moved around with what genuinely looked like smooth, coordinated choreography.
Mid-performance, things started to wobble. The robot nearly lost its balance near the edge of the stage but managed to recover just enough to continue.
It then made a crucial mistake by returning to the exact same risky spot.
That decision did not end well.

Seconds later, the AGIBOT Expedition A3 catastrophically folded forward and face-planted onto the stage floor while Billie Jean continued playing as if nothing had happened

The way it just laid there and accepted its fate.
A staff member then walked in and dragged the motionless machine off stage, creating a moment that somehow felt unintentionally comedic.

Online reactions were immediate, predictably swinging between jokes, awe, and a little sympathy for the bot.
"This looks like me at the karaoke bar at 1am," wrote one person.
"The first recovery was pretty impressive though," wrote another.
"Michael Malfunction," joked another.
