Samsung's latest innovative wearable device is the hotly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Ring

The Galaxy Ring was unveiled at the Samsung Unpacked 2024 event in Paris, France, on 10 July.

SAYS Tech had the exclusive opportunity to see the Galaxy Ring, which is touted as the next step in fitness devices, up close.

While we weren't able to test out the Ring's features, here's what we observed.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring features an elegant design, and its main goal is to keep you fit and healthy

When paired with the Samsung Health app, the Galaxy Ring will automatically track your workouts. There are three built-in sensors that will detect when you've started a workout session.

Besides tracking your workouts, you'll be able to monitor your heart rate and cycle tracking.

Powered by Galaxy AI, the Ring has advance sleep tracking capabilities, allowing you to track your energy scores.

Oh, and the Ring also alerts you whenever you're inactive, giving you more reasons to hit your daily fitness goals. The ring comes with a seven day battery life and can be charged up to 40% within 30 minutes.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring is feather-light and can be taken for a swim

Made out of titanium, the Galaxy Ring is not only elegant but a sturdy looking ring.

It's 7mm wide and 2.6mm thick, and only weighs between 2.3g to 3g. In other words, you wouldn't notice it's on your finger.

It comes with an IP68 rating, which means you can take it for a swim at depths of up to 100m.

There are three colours you can choose for your Samsung Galaxy Ring

The colours are Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold.

The Galaxy Ring also comes in nine finger sizes, ranging from 5 to 13.

It's currently released only in selected countries and will be available soon in Malaysia.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring is priced at USD399 so we can expect it to be priced about RM1,876
