We spend approximately eight hours a day sleeping, which equals to 2,920 hours a year

That’s approximately 120 days, or one-third of a year. So, why don’t we put that time resting to good use as well?

Introducing Pokémon Sleep! The Pokémon Sleep app aims to introduce a new and enjoyable experience during your sleeping hours. All you need to do is to set your smartphone nearby your pillows and simply fall asleep.

Watch the video below for some insight into the app:

In Pokémon Sleep, players engage in studying the sleep patterns of Pokemon

The game will take players on a journey across a collection of small islands. They are joined by a Snorlax and a Pokémon sleep researcher named Neroli. As time progresses, the Snorlax gradually increases in size, granting players the opportunity to encounter a greater variety of Pokémon and explore different sleeping habits.

The game also offers a unique element called the "sleep score," which evaluates players' sleep duration

Sleeping for a healthy eight and a half hours will net you a perfect score of 100 points. The longer players sleep, the stronger Snorlax's Drowsy Power becomes. As this power grows, a greater number of Pokémon will gather, presenting players with chances to form friendships with newfound Pokemon.

So, you snooze, you win!

The game also tracks your sleeping patterns throughout the week, starting from Mondays, to evaluate sleep consistency. This is showcased by the app’s "bedtime" feature that assists players in developing a consistent sleep routine by setting a target bedtime. If players go to bed at the designated time, they earn stamps on their stamp cards and receive rewards.

Pre-registration is now open on the Google Play Store
