Vida's Mansion & 4 Cars Seized Over RM1 Million Debt. Check Out Photos Of Her House Here
The cosmetics entrepreneur has defaulted on repayment since 2018.
Cosmetics entrepreneur Datuk Seri Vida is facing legal trouble after the Kuala Lumpur High Court ordered the seizure of her assets over an unpaid debt of more than RM1 million
Vida, whose real name is Datuk Seri Hasmiza Othman, owes subcontractor Mohamad Taufik Kamarul RM1,060,285 for renovation work on her Shah Alam factory, which was converted into a studio, reported the New Straits Times.
Mohamad Taufik has been pursuing the debt since 2018.
His lawyer, Samir Zainal, said the Kuala Lumpur High Court had issued a judgment on 29 October last year, ordering Vida to settle the debt.
Her failure to repay resulted in the issuance of a writ of seizure and sale.

Yesterday, 25 November, an Ipoh High Court bailiff arrived at Vida's residence in Persiaran Bukit Meru in Ipoh, Perak, accompanied by Mohamad Taufik and Samir
"All items in the house, except for Vida's locked room, were tagged by the bailiff after nearly four hours.
"She has two weeks, until 9 December, to settle the debt. Otherwise, the items will be auctioned," Samir said.
According to Sinar Harian, four luxury vehicles — two Toyota Vellfire, a Toyota Grand Hiace and a BMW X7 — were also seized.
Responding to the issue in an Instagram post yesterday, Vida said she has appointed a lawyer to provide legal advice and resolve the matter.
"I greatly appreciate the support of all parties and hope to be given the space to deal with this matter calmly and professionally," she said.
