"Masam Masam Manis" — Malaysian Couples Spill The Sweet And Sour Truths About Marriage
The campaign challenges the idea of a "perfect marriage" by presenting a more genuine and relatable view.
Digital platform Sirap Limau is proud to unveil their Masam Masam Manis campaign, which aims to celebrate the true realities of marriage
Running from 1 December 2024 to 14 January 2025, the campaign is divided into four heartfelt themes — Sehati Sejiwa (One Heart, One Soul), Gelora Perkahwinan (Marriage Turmoils), Kemuncak Cinta (Blooming Love), and Kembali Terjalin (Back in Love).
Masam Masam Manis celebrates the many sides of love and highlights the true experiences of marriage.
By sharing meaningful stories, relatable content, and building strong community ties, it aims to show the beauty in imperfection, encouraging couples to cherish both the highs and lows of their journey together.

Nurul Halifah, Sirap Limau's editorial lead, explains that the campaign aims to challenge the idea of a "perfect marriage" by presenting a more genuine and relatable story — one that highlights the strength of love through all phases of life
"A special feature on the campaign website will allow the public to share their personal marriage stories anonymously. These submissions will serve as the inspiration for social media content, creating a space for shared experiences," said Halifah.
Additionally, Anis Amirah, the campaign manager for this project, emphasised the exciting opportunity for participants to win weekly prizes worth RM500 through the photo challenge.
Aimed at creating buzz and celebrating love, this social media contest invites couples to share their happiest moments on Facebook, accompanied by heartfelt captions and the hashtags #MasamMasamManis and #TulisKisahHati.
"We have also partnered with several organisations such as tilljannah.my and Andorra Hospital to provide relevant content that makes a meaningful impact for all," Anis shared.
