A Malaysian man has gone viral for swapping shoes with his girlfriend so she could enjoy their date pain-free
TikTok user @pareepari or Fareesya shared cute clips of her boyfriend strutting around Zoo Negara in her stylish heels β yes, you read that right, in her heels β after her feet began to hurt while they were exploring the zoo.
Fareesya explained that her boyfriend had kept the destination of the surprise birthday date a secret from her
She had no idea where they were headed, so she dressed for the occasion, slipping into a pair of heels. Little did she know that this surprise date would involve plenty of walking through Zoo Negara's animal-packed exhibits.
Her boyfriend had noticed her less-than-practical footwear choice earlier, but not wanting to spoil the surprise or offend her, he kept his thoughts to himself.
He came to her rescue, when her discomfort became too obvious to ignore.
"It's okay if my feet hurt, I can tolerate it," he can be heard saying in the 27-second video.
And evidently, her boyfriend was fine with taking on the challenge of wearing her heels, maybe even a bit too excited
