Creating a safe space for you to train and thrive, Good Juju Barbell celebrates all of their patrons at every stage of their fitness journey

Founded by five friends (three of whom were colleagues and worked as strength coaches in previous personal training studios), Good Juju Barbell Club aims to redefine what health and wellness mean for people.

After working in the fitness industry for over a decade, these friends realised that most gyms tend to emphasise on the "after" goal when it comes to losing weight. More than anyone else, they understand the collective experience of people who may find the gym intimidating, or feel like they're being judged.

Celebrating the small things that may be overlooked, those at Good Juju fully understand the progress made in every single session, no matter how big or small.

With the tagline, "Welcome to the most uplifting gym in Kuala Lumpur", Good Juju Barbell Club carries their message through every avenue in their establishment.

Their goal for anyone walking into the locale is simple: workout without any judgement, only support and encouragement. A place to find warmth and kindness while working on yourselves, their ultimate takeaway is to have you leaving the gym feeling recharged, fulfilled, and reconnected.

Decked out in neon lights and bright colours, walk into the inviting premise and get ready to get your Good Juju on

Currently, Good Juju Barbell offers both Personal Training sessions and Private Group Training

Personal Training sessions are curated towards your specified fitness level and readiness, catering to one-on-one sessions or up to two people max. Movements Assessments (as described by Good Juju Barbell) are carried out prior to signing up as a client at the gym. This is primarily done to analyse one's movement, and to see if there are any limitations that they should be aware of as coaches.

Programming each session to be as affective as it can be, the coaches at Good Juju Barbell take into account each person's personal goal, and aligns it with their body.

Step inside their fully stocked gym, that includes adjustable barbell benches, pull-up bars, Smith machines, leg press machines, and dumbbells with varying weights, among others.

Private Group Training sessions can accommodate up to eight people for one class. Good Juju Barbell currently has two types of classes.

The first is known as "Raise The Bar", which is a functional strength class designed after their own personal training clients protocol. The routine focused on are compound lifts, which include squats, deadlifts, and bench presses. This may be a great option for those looking to perfect their technique and manage their fitness progress, without having to buck for the same price point as personal training sessions.

The second class is called "One More Rep", a strength endurance class that's for those who want something a little more fast-paced. A course of compound lifts distributed among three stations, get groovy and sweat it out with minimal rest time, and amazing music!

Never fear no matter which class you choose — both classes can be scaled up or down, welcoming those on all levels of fitness.
