Earlier this week, he finally managed to come home to his family.

The man's return home was captured on a video by his sister-in-law and uploaded on her TikTok profile, @asmhabd, on Monday, 15 February. The TikTok has since gone viral.

In the caption of the video, the woman wrote that the family was shocked by the surprise.

"Shocked to see their dad come home. Didn't meet for a year due to COVID," she wrote, adding that she watched the video of the tearful reunion 10 times and has cried an equal number of times.
