The Proton e.MAS 7 is scheduled to launch in December 2024 and customers can now reserve this new electric vehicle (EV) by placing a RM500 deposit on EON's website

EON, one of Proton's major dealers with 10 locations across Malaysia, has designated its Glenmarie and Damansara branches as official Proton e.MAS dealerships.

While the exact power output of the e.MAS 7 hasn't been confirmed, it is likely to be comparable to the Galaxy E5, given their similar drivetrain.

The Geely Galaxy E5 features a front-mounted electric motor capable of producing 218PS (160kW) and 320Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 6.9 seconds.

Geely offers two battery options: a 49.52kWh battery with a range of up to 440km and a 60.22kWh battery with a range of up to 530km. Both range estimates are based on the CLTC testing standard.

The Proton e.MAS 7 will be showcased at EON's Smart Glenmarie dealership on Sunday, 27 October, for a limited-time preview

The e.MAS 7 was also sent on a nationwide road trip convoy on Saturday, 5 October. The tour began in Shah Alam and travelled southward through Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and Johor. Along the way, the EV made stops at charging stations and popular eateries, allowing the public to interact with and learn more about the eMAS 7.
