Ferrari is preparing to launch their inaugural EV soon

The electric Prancing Horse will sport a hefty price tag of over US$500,000 (RM2.35 million). However, prices can vary significantly worldwide due to regional taxes making direct conversions difficult.

Company chief executive officer Benedetto Vigna confirmed that Ferrari will unveil its first electric sports car by the end of the year. The company is ahead of schedule, having made significant progress late last year, and the vehicle is set to launch in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Ferrari's head of product marketing, Emanuele Carando, recently stated that the upcoming hypercar will feature an "authentic sound" and embody the essence of a "true Ferrari".

Sources also informed Reuters that a second electric Ferrari is being developed. While it is still in its early stages, this second EV is expected to ramp up production at Ferrari's e-building facility.

With the launch of the Purosangue SUV, Ferrari is looking to adjust its production to maintain exclusivity

To avoid becoming predominantly an SUV brand, Ferrari has capped the annual production of the Purosangue to 20% of its total output. The super SUV model starts at around US$400,000 (RM1.88 million) and would likely see even higher sales if production is not restricted.

With a new plant under construction, Ferrari is poised to increase its car production capacity. Among the highly anticipated models is a hypercar set to debut later this year.
